How Do I Log On To the Alverno Network?

PC - Windows Computer (see below) ................. Macintosh Computer

 

1. Press Ctrl +Alt + Delete to display the logon window if it’s not already showing
2. Type in your User Name
3. Type in your password
   Be sure that “Alverno” appears in the “Log On to” box
4. Click OK or press Enter

If this is your first time logging into the network, you will be prompted to change your password.

 

1. Click OK.
2. Select a new password that is at least six, and no more than twelve, characters long (see the Why do I have a password from the pull out menu on the Alverno's Network button on the left). The password is case-sensitive, so notice if you use the SHIFT key, or if the Caps Lock key is on.
3. Type in the new password twice. Pick a password you’ll remember. You will be charged a fee if you forget your password and the network administrator must create a new one for you.
4. Click OK.
5. You will be prompted that your password has been successfully changed. Click OK. You are now logged on to the network.

Macintosh Computer

NOTE:To use a Macintosh computer, your password must be at least 6 but no more than 8 characters long.

1. When the Mac is turned on, the login window will appear.

2. Type your Alverno user name and password, and click the Login button. This will log you into the Mac.

3. Next, the Logon To Servers screen appears:

4. Simply reenter your password, and you will be logged onto the Alverno network.
