What is the Computer Center?

The Computer Center, located in the Teaching Learning and Technology Building, provides computer access to Alverno students.


The Computer Center includes:

  • An Open Access lab (TL109B) with a mix of PC’s and Macintosh computers available for walk-in use by students
  • Three PC labs (TL110, TL 111 and TL109G) with 30, 25, and 20 computers- available for walk-in student use when they are not reserved for classes
  • Macintosh lab (TL111) with 20 computers- available for walk-in student use when they are not reserved for classes
  • Small Group Classroom (TL109D) has 7 PC’s at tables for classes working in groups of two or three. The Writing Center often meets in this room.
  • Four Small Group Workrooms (TL109C, TL109E, TL109F and TL116) where small groups can work on computer projects.
